OUR WINES
Taste Pure Swartland
Our wines are proudly and authentically Wine of Origin Swartland reflecting this unique wine region and the passion of the it’s people in every glass.

Riebeek Cellars Collection
In the Swartland region only the toughest vines and people thrive. The Collection range celebrates the courageous spirit in all of us. It is the reward for overcoming adversity against all odds.

ZERO.5
The alcohol is removed at low temperatures under a vacuum via a spinning cone technology. This is done in two passes; with the initial pass, 100% of the wine’s volatile flavour and aromatic essence is captured and set aside. During the second pass, the neutral alcohol is removed from the wine.

Kasteelberg
Excellent craftsmanship transforms the harsh Swartland terroir into the pinnacle of our winemaker’s art.

Raar
Our passion & commitment to showcase the lesser known varietals from beautiful vineyards that thrive in the Swartland.

Pieter Cruythoff
In honour of Lieutenant Pieter Cruythoff, who discovered the Riebeek Valley, this luxurious, sparkling wine celebrates life in the Swartland.

Klein Kasteelberg
Klein Kasteelberg showcases our terroir diversity through blends of limited re-lease varietals like Mourvèdre, Marsanne, Grenache with our Swartland stars like Chenin & Shiraz.

Short Street
Made from S. Rhone cultivars, that are best suited to the Swartland terroir for future sustainability, Short Street offers unique blends that are truly expressive of this unique wine region.

22 FAMILIES OVP
The Old Vine Project of South Africa recognises the importance of caring for vineyards to enable them to grow to a healthy, productive old age, producing a sustainable farming model, and wine with unique character.

Tiqitini
Only free run juice is used for the purest fruit expression (i.e. no pressed grape must: as pressing the grapes add astringent flavours from the skins and pips). After settling and acid adjustment, the fresh grape must was inoculated with selected yeast. Fermentation was colder than usual to capture the delicate floral and upfront fruit flavours. The wine is bottled with CO2 in a Petillant style (lightly sparkling).

Tasting Emporium
Join us at our Tasting Emporium to taste our wines and to enjoy true Swartland hospitality. The Tasting Emporium offers visitors a curated selection of hand-crafted Swartland wines from our Riebeek Cellars Collection range and from our limited release, small-batch ranges; as well as local Riebeek Valley olive products, craft beer, craft gin and more. As the perfect partner to a glass of wine, build your own cheese & olive platter with our selection of locally produced cheese, olives and cured meats. Most more importantly join us to kick-back and discover true Swartland hospitality. On the first Sunday of every month, you’re invited to try your hand at creating your own “Signature Blend” at a Wine Blending Session with our winemaker. Almost all wines are blends: some a blend of different barrels, vineyards or blocks of a single variety, others a blend of different varieties. The art of blending is to take individual pieces and make the sum of the blend better than the individual parts.
